Historical Reflection: Lisbon and its National Library
“With more than a century of existence, the National Library of Portugal reflects the grandeur of the historic architecture and elegance that characterize the buildings of the same era in Lisbon. When walking through the streets of the city, the presence of this historical magnitude is remarkable, also evidencing the impacts of the transformations carried out after the earthquakes of 1755. In addition, it is possible to observe the unique details that enrich the oldest district in Europe.”
